Chris-Craft is proud to announce the world debut of its newest model, the Catalina 24, at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. This 24-foot center console is the 4th all-new Chris-Craft model to be released in less than 2 years and is the latest addition to the Catalina model series.
Every inch of the Catalina 24 was thoughtfully considered in the engineering and building of this new model. At 24 feet, the center console design offers more functionality and sophistication than any in its class.
The Catalina 24 was built to express the classic design elements that make a Chris-Craft stand out in a sea of sameness. A defining characteristic of each Chris-Craft is the tumblehome transom and Deep-V hull with Carolina Flare Bow – and this is no less apparent on the Catalina 24.
A pilothouse center console is standard on the Catalina 24, which houses a head with ample headroom, integrated hooks for fender storage, and dedicated racks for an optional Mediterranean forward sunshade. At the bow, the gunnels are raised to provide a smoother ride and a more comfortable seating arrangement. An optional windlass is found in the forward bow hatch, from which a stainless-steel anchor can be deployed. Cupholders, speakers, and USB ports make the bow area even more functional. Similar to other Chris-Craft models, an optional teak table can be mounted in the bow area to enhance the capabilities of the space.
The helm station is strikingly detailed yet modern. State-of-the-art electronics are flush mounted and include a 12” Garmin display, Fusion Apollo head unit, and Mercury Vessel View. An easy-to-reach glovebox provides quick access storage, and a cast stainless-steel steering wheel is embellished with soft grip and a convenient speed knob for maximum captain control.
Our Engineering and Design Team has developed a patent-pending reversible helm seat unique to the Catalina 24. In its forward position, the seat is raised for optimal captain visibility. When converted to face aft, the seat creates a comfortable social zone. Integrated into the helm seat are storage pockets on both starboard and port sides, as well as custom upholstery with accents finished in varnished mahogany and stainless steel. Just below the helm seat, a 65-gallon Yeti cooler slides to accommodate the seat’s position.
An extended transom and side boarding door both come standard aboard the Catalina 24 and give easy access to the water or dock when not underway. Also included is an insulated compartment integrated into the port side of the transom which can be fitted with water pumps and drainage to serve as a live well.
The Catalina 24 offers unique beauty and functionality. Its ability to make memories on the water is second to none.
